together a uh chalk walk.
Uh chalk walk in red, white, and blue,
and that's July 1st at the seawall. It's
for ages between 5 and 16.
And uh they're looking for you to
demonstrate your vision on our national
symbols, the Statue of Liberty, the
American flag, Liberty Bell, bald eagle,
torches, fireworks, etc. We provide the
Cultural Arts Commission provide the
chalk and the wall, the seawall.
uh promenade
And you provide the creativity. So,
that's on July 1st.
uh
On-site registration 9:30 a.m. up the
seawall around 11th Street there from
10:00 a.m. to noon.
So, um
you can practice ahead of time and we'd
love to see you all up there.
uh Other than that, the uh
the Economic Development Committee met
last week.
And uh we had a great meeting.
You know, we wanted to do something
special for uh the 250th anni-
anniversary of the country and all. So,
we came up with something I think is
fabulous and I got to give uh Tiger uh
some uh
credit for this. I think you mentioned
it.
Yeah.
>> [laughter]
>> uh
But, so at uh 11:30 on July 4th
uh at 38th Street on the beach
get your patriotic gear on, bring your
flags, we're marching from
up the up the beach from 38th Street up
around the Scallops. Some people may
want to go some more, but we hope they
get it uh set the Guinness Book of World
Records for the biggest patriotic crowd
march on July 4th on the beach
uh in Brigantine. That's
That's on the 4th at 11:30 a.m. So, it's
pretty exciting. Yeah.
uh We're going to have a nice ceremony
to start the parade. um
uh band, trumpet players, national
anthem, the whole lot. It's going to be
really cool.
>> All walkers?
No bikes? Bikes?
>> No bikes.
>> No no no bikes.
>> No bikes. Just walkers. Just marchers.
>> All right.
>> uh
And
uh other than that, that's about all I
have. If you need me, you know where to
find my number, right?
>> Paul, do you have anything from the
first word? Second word? Second word,
excuse me.
>> Sorry I'm late. I had to attend my
grand- granddaughter's graduation.
>> Absolutely. Family first.
>> Oh, sure. Anyway, uh
we did meet
Mike Rizzo,
Tiger, and
John Doring
with the folks over the seawall.
The county was down, said their
representative was here. They said the
project engineer was was there with
them. And we discussed our wants and and
questions about why certain things
weren't finished.
They, you know, gave us their excuses,
but they said they would take it back
and figure out what we were going to do
about the whole thing. Questioned the
blinking lights, and we were told
that there was a short in the pole
wherever there was an outlet placed.
Water was leaking into the pole and
shorting shorting the lights, and I
therefore they were blinking on and off
because of some kind of safety mechanism
so that they don't stay on all the time,
but they're now shut off
completely.
We're hoping to get those turned back on
sooner than later.
Is there anything else, John, about
that?
Covered it all. Yeah.
And we're trying to get that last ramp
extended down to the sand level.
And uh
and something done with the 13th Street
ramp that's not there any longer.
It all has to be added back in there.
And then there was some problems with
the poles. The the pipes didn't end in
the right places, and where they had
removed the railings, there were
uh
holes left
in the decking that should have been
filled in some way or covered over.
And, you know, we showed them all, we
took pictures, and uh
hopefully there'll be something done
about it very shortly.
>> Thank [clears throat] you.
I'd first like to thank Jim Morgan and
CER staff and Jim's daughter Kim for
hosting a fabulous bus trip last week.
They took I think there were like 40 of
us from Brigantine in the area.
We went on a week-long bus trip. 1,800
miles on a bus was long, but it was it
was fantastic. It was We had lady from
Baskovs, a representative with us every
step of the way. And it was planned out
beautifully. We went to Shanksville,
Pennsylvania, saw where the planes came
down, which was
surreal to see that. We did the
football Hall of Fame, the uh
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
We went all the way up to Mackinac
Island up by the upper peninsula of
Michigan,
which is a an island that has no motor
vehicles other than one
ambulance and three fire trucks.
Police department responds on bicycles
and horses.
But it it's just it was neat. So, I I
just want to thank them for one of their
great trips.
>> [snorts]
>> I'd also like to congratulate the class
of 2026, the graduating class from
Brigantine Community School. Neil and I
were there last night. It was different
because
um both Glenn Robbins, the
superintendent, and Mayor Vince Sera
wore two different hats last night. They
were both in their official roles and
they were in their dad roles as well.
So, it was neat to see that.
So, congratulation to all of them and
just I hope everybody has a wonderful
happy sum- Oh, Paul, you too.
You were you were official as giving an
award to your son. Congratulations to
him as well.
All right.
Anybody else have anything else to say?
All right. I will entertain a motion to

do.
Here it is.

far,

Father's Day.
