>> the check register for items paid in
between.
Um so the first group we have here uh
distinct
car toys and that was to purchase for
the animal control vehicle.
Uh
if you look um
further down, actually the last line on
page one for the check register, we have
here uh New Jersey Division of Health
Benefits and Payments is $685,296.70.
Okay. Then on the purchase order
If we look at line one,
uh it's a reimbursement for 2024 payable
to
106 South Main Street LLC.
If we flip over to page two,
we have pretty much going down in the
middle. Fourth, fifth item down, $10,250
for our auditing company.
If we flip over to page three,
fifth item down again, Gentleini Ford,
and that's to purchase two
remanufactured engines for the police
department.
If we flip over to page four,
the sixth item from bottom up, Ansero
LLC, $5,2198,
and that is a monthly recurring payment
uh for February and March. That's
actually half of that. $2700
and that's for our voice over the
internet landlines.
Page five, we're looking at Pimoni
Associates and that is the licensed site
remediator
professional and that's for the Lakes
Bay waterfront and that's $5,260.
Uh, if you flip over to page six
towards the middle of the page, we have
Schindler
Elevator Corporation is
$8,41169.
This covers the elevator service for
uh
25 that ended in mid 20 uh in October
and so we had to renew for 26 as well.
So that's for uh two years of um one

preventive maintenance that's $8,41169.
>> Kenya, may I ask is this for the library

>> No, it's just the library.
>> Okay.

>> All in favor? I
>> Good evening everyone.
>> Good evening.
>> This is the city council meeting.
Today's April the 6, 2026, and the time
is 6:41.
This meeting has been duly advertised in
the city newspapers in performance with
the Open Public Meetings Act, otherwise
known as the Sunshine Law. Please stand
for invocation and flag salute. We're
going to have a silent prayer, please.
Amen.
>> I aliance to the flag of the United

and justice for all.
Thank you.
>> Call
please.
>> Kimona
>> present.
>> Present
>> present. Pettis
>> present.
>> Sweepson
>> present.
>> Gibson
>> present.
>> Thomas
>> present. All in attendance. May I have a
motion to dispense previous minutes?
>> May have a second.
>> All in favor?
>> I.
>> May you have anything?
>> No, I do not. Thank you.
Next, we have public portion. You have
Mr. Santos.
Good evening.
>> Good evening.
>> Um
I'd like to know um who decide
um the location where the stop sign in
Franklin Boulevard it was going to go
>> our police department.
>> Yes.
>> Okay. I've been coming here, you know,
few times, you know, by the speed on
Franklin Boulevard,
>> right?
>> And I know you guys say, you know, that
the stop sign was going to take place
where
I think, you know, the first stop sign
that they show to it was the one the old
temp
that's where four people died.
The stop sign now is on Anna's Avenue.
is okay you know but it need a stop sign
on
pie reason why is because that's what
the parents start taking the speed
>> I'll send a message you know to Mr.
Kamona you know soon and so I I will be
here you know early but you know you
know I will you know to yeah you know
the other thing is you know um the
amount of people living on
houses.
Is anything being done by that?
>> Um, I believe you brought that up
before.
>> Yeah, I bring that down, you know, every
time then I come here,
>> right? But I'm not sure if Mr. Santos
had that conversation with you, Mr.
>> Yes. So, the the basic premise here is
that we can't just go knocking on doors
and asking people how many people live
in your house. So I think what has to
happen in this situation if you feel as
though there's a you know violation
happening you have to notify us and then
we'll notify our code enforcement
company and they will investigate.
>> Well that's a viation a lot of people
you know live in a house house is
supposed to have you know
some so many people you know living each
house you know. Now the other question
is you know um
when they have a project going on around
the area the neighbor supposed to
receive letters because far as I know
you know that's the way it goes.
>> What kind of project?
>> Well like the how from me
I go to the TA center you know he say to
me you know the that's how is a multi-
family home it was a duper before.
two apartments.
It's not two apartments no more. It's
more than that.
>> And that's not the only house. It's it's
several houses, you know, on the block.
>> Mr. Santos, do you think um you can give
Mr. Los the address if you have
>> or or you can make it?
>> Yeah, I can give you the address. Yeah,
that's fine.
>> The the trash
My god,
the trash occurred from Franklin
Boulevard.
People taking the trash out
full
they the trash can can even they can
even close, you know, the uh the the top
>> they put, you know, the trash, you know,
trash bag, you know, next to the and
I've been saying this, you know,
>> and I mean all that trash
>> across from Franklin
So it's uh it's hurting you know
everybody they live on the low area.
My neighbor here, you know, he can told
you, you know, he got he live all the
way down the street on Charles Avenue.
>> He he get trash all the way down. Every
every
day this trash the day before because
they take it the day before the wind is
blowing trash,
>> you know. I mean, making my house when
people go by look bad,
you know. And what day is the trash day?
>> Wednesday.
>> Okay.
>> I guess you can.
>> All right. Thank you, Mr. Santos.
>> One more thing.
>> Okay. Your time's up. Go ahead.
>> Make it short.
>> Yeah.
>> The police. When I call the police
sometime they don't like me
>> because they did something to me. They
told my my van right from next to my
house because it was too close to the
stop line, right? Respect that. Well,
now you know people is parking there and
then I call the police.
>> Mhm.
>> You know, and the you can tell, you
know, because they got me on record
so many time, you know, when somebody
now parked there.
>> So, I think that's, you know, you should
let Mr. Los know that as well.
>> Absolutely.
>> I mean, if you can like, you know, tell
him what day that you called or
whatever, but I think that you and Mr.
Los should have a sit down. I think the
tr the trouble is that because you work
and my hours and your hours are kind of
the same. I'm working during the day.
You're working during the day.
>> Well, I'm working night time, too.
>> Yeah. But I'm not working night time.
So, uh if you can give a call to uh my
office, speak to my assistant, and then
you and I can uh have that conversation
after.
>> Okay. I get disclosed
to report
and file complaint against one of the
police because the way that he treat me
on the phone it was kind of nasty
you know and it's not the first time
that I have you know the the how you
calling the the experience
you know some some of these cop
they don't belong there
>> so Mr. Santos. That's why you need to
have that conversation with Mr. Okay.
>> We'll take the report also.
>> Okay.
>> Thank you.
>> May I have a motion to close public
portion?
>> May I have a second?
>> All in favor? I
>> Madame clerk.
>> Okay. First is resolution 58 authorizing
appointment of firefighter to Michael
St. Just. May have a motion.
